Refund Policy
When the service fee is refunded.
Last updated September 16, 2026
How you pay
When you accept an offer, we place a hold on your card for the full price shown: the seller’s ticket price plus a flat $7 TicketHandoff service fee and card processing. Your card is charged only when you confirm the ticket arrived or we verify the seller’s screenshot of the transfer. The handoff deadline is 24 hours before kickoff, or 7 days after you accept if that comes first; it’s shown on your handoff page.
You’re not charged if
• the seller backs out;
• the seller doesn’t mark the ticket sent by the deadline; or
• your payment finishes after the offer already ended, so you weren’t matched.
In these cases the hold is released (or, if you were already charged, you’re refunded in full).
Backing out
If you back out before the seller marks the ticket sent, you’re charged only the $7 service fee.
If the ticket never arrives
You have to report it from the handoff page with “The ticket never arrived” before the deadline. Your card is charged so the money is secured while we review it. If the review finds the ticket wasn’t sent, you’re refunded in full and the seller is banned.
No refund
Nothing is refunded once you confirm the ticket arrived, once we verify the seller’s transfer and you haven’t reported a problem by the deadline, or if a review finds the ticket was sent. Problems at the stadium that aren’t caused by the seller, like a dead phone, aren’t covered.
Timing and questions
Released holds usually disappear within a few days. Refunds go back to your original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days. Questions: [email protected].
