What we collect, how we use it, and who sees it.

What we collect

Account details: your tamu.edu email, name, phone number, and your password (stored only as a secure hash; we can’t see it). If you sell, we store the ID of the Stripe account you set up for payouts, not your bank details.

Activity: tickets you post, lines you join, offers, handoffs, and reports.

Technical data: IP address and browser information, used for security, rate limiting, and preventing abuse. We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect forms; no advertising or tracking cookies.

Payments: all payments run through Stripe, which processes card holds, charges, refunds, and seller payouts. Sellers give their identity and bank details directly to Stripe. We receive payment status and amounts, never card numbers or bank account numbers.

How we use it

To run the site: match buyers and sellers, take payments and pay sellers, send sign-in and handoff emails, handle disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and meet legal and tax requirements.

Who we share it with

The student you’re matched with: after a buyer pays for an offer, the seller sees the buyer’s tamu.edu email so they can send the ticket. We don’t share names, phone numbers, or payment details with other students.

Service providers that run the site for us: Stripe (payments), Brevo (email delivery), Cloudflare (security and network), and DigitalOcean (hosting). They may only use your information to provide their services.

When required by law, or to protect students and the site from fraud or harm.

We do not sell your information or show ads.

How long we keep it

We keep your account while it’s active. Records of handoffs, fees, and reports are kept as long as needed for disputes, fraud prevention, and tax and accounting records. You can ask us to delete your account; some records may be kept where the law requires.

Your choices

You can update your details on your Profile page. To get a copy of your information or delete your account, email [email protected] from your tamu.edu address.

Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and limited access to our systems. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects your information, we’ll tell you.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: [email protected].
