Secure Payments. Scam Protection.
Buying a ticket from a stranger shouldn’t be a gamble. Every handoff is paid through Stripe and protected until the ticket is in your app.
Every payment runs through Stripe
Cards are processed by Stripe, the payment platform trusted by millions of businesses. TicketHandoff never sees or stores your card number.
Charged only after it’s verified
Accepting puts a hold on your card. Sellers upload a screenshot of the transfer, and you’re only charged once it’s verified or you confirm the ticket arrived.
Full refund if it never arrives
If the seller doesn’t send it or the ticket never shows up in your 12th Man Foundation app, you get your money back.
Real students, verified sellers
Every account is a verified tamu.edu email. Sellers verify their identity with Stripe before they can get paid.
No Venmo requests, no DMs
Never pay a stranger up front or send a screenshot. Payment only happens here, so there’s nothing to scam you out of.
Scammers get banned
Report a problem from the handoff page. Anyone found not sending a ticket is banned and must pay the money back.
